12:00pm  The testing session was attended by the team of: Rudy KE5MUE, Walt WA6LII, Gary AE5VO and Terry N6YI.  Ronnie Robertson KG5WDW took and passed the General class license and passed.

2:00 pm   Meeting was not held due to a lack of a quorum.  There was a reminder of the fact our club repeater building is leaking water and we need a crew to go out there and paint some waterproof paint around the base of the building. Field day was mentioned and it will regretfully not be held at John & Susan’s home this year.

2:20 pm   Ed Henson was our scheduled speaker and he gave a very interesting talk on his 31 year career with the CIA. He could only talk about unclassified things but what he shared was great stuff. Obsolete ways of communicating from far off places with encryptions and new equipment which he helped to get working and into the field. Thanks to Gary for inviting Ed to speak at our meeting.

3:10pm    We broke up the talk after some questions, some of which Ed could not answer because of classified nature.  Refreshments were served.

The next club meeting will be on April 14 at the first Christian Church, 763 Passion Play Road. Eureka Springs, AR.  Testing at 1:00pm and meeting at 2:00pm.
